ARS is offering two kinds of cryostats:
Advanced Research Systems- Closed Cycle Cryostats (Displex) is the industry standard in two-stage G-M refrigeration systems. Supporting temperature requirements from 4K-800 Kelvin, Displex systems are available with a wide variety of standard interfaces. These interfaces allow the user to use the same system for applications ranging from optical spectroscopy studies to material characterization. Displex systems can be found worldwide and have a long history of reliable, dependable performance. All of ARS closed cycle refrigerators utilize compressors that were designed specifically for use with Helium. These compressors have a long history of reliable, dependable performance.

- Open Cycle Cryogenic Systems (Helitran) provide cryogenic research capability in the temperature range of 1.8K-450K. Available in three unique configurations, these continuous flow systems offer a high degree of temperature stability while consuming modest amounts of liquid cryogen. Each Helitran system features a removable transfer line that uses a patented internal suspension and shield flow to guarantee single phase liquid flow. This results in extremely stable temperatures and outstanding performance.
