What is
V2T? Why and for whom?

V2T is the
meeting place for users of vacuum techniques in today’s and tomorrow’s
technology environment.

Vacuum is everywhere, especially in new technologies :

communication and mobility.

See you in Massy for the 3rd edition, near the “Scientific and
Technological Hub” on 20 & 21 May 2026.

V2T aims to
be a trade show targeting all the players and their associated
services who use vacuum technologies in their daily work: manufacturers,
equipment suppliers, distributors, service providers, key accounts,
universities/schools, recruitment agencies, etc.

• Ruim 
  400 exposanten: internationale bedrijven, organisaties,
  onderwijs- en kennisinstellingen die zich bezighouden met productie,
  onderzoek en ontwikkeling in het hoog nauwkeurige bereik.


• 40
  inspiratiesessies: hoor de laatste ontwikkelingen en ontvang
  praktische insights door vakexperts, exposanten en jonge talenten uit de
  sector. 


• Netwerkarena:
  in twee dagen komt hier de gehele ecosysteem van ultra precisie en de
  hightech maakindustrie samen. Je ontmoet laagdrempelig hightechbedrijven,
  branche- en netwerkorganisaties, onderwijs- en wetenschapsinstellingen,
  studententeams en de Big Science projecten.

Roadshow

To strengthen the interaction between industry and science, the Technology Transfer Office of the GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research GmbH regularly organizes a roadshow on the GSI campus. Existing contacts are maintained and new ones are established.

The roadshow offers companies from various sectors a platform to present their latest developments and products.

The product portfolio is presented at an exhibition stand on the campus, to which all FAIR and GSI employees are invited.

As a communication platform, the roadshow facilitates networking between industrial companies and FAIR and GSI employees in a relaxed atmosphere.

User Meeting

With the
series of annual user meetings, we bring together our user community to
intensify scientific exchange and stimulating new collaborations. The meetings
will provide an overview of the many exciting and inspiring research results
obtained at our facility in the past year and will emphasize on future
developments in particular on BESSY III. Plenary talks, discussions, a public
lecture, the market place of innovation and a poster session will provide vast
possibilities of information and discussion. The bestowals of the 'Prizes for
Young Scientists' donated by the Freundeskreis Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin e.V. (FHZB) are traditional highlights of the user
meetings.
